vintage pine needle basket, handmade coiled basket sewing box w/ lid

Vintage pine needle basket, 20th century. We've been told that this is an Indian basket, but we know very little about Seminole handcrafts or Indian baskets in general, and can't say for sure as this piece isn't marked or signed that we could find.

It's about 8 3/4" x 4 1/2" overall, missing one handle, showing a few small breaks and one area mended with cord.
