vintage soft worn plaid cotton flannel shirts w/ Swiss yodeler embroidered trim

Vintage chalet style cotton plaid flannel shirts with embroidered trim along the top part of the front facings (where the buttons close).

These are authentic vintage Swiss shirts brought home to Wisconsin by a man born in Switzerland who came to the US in the early 1930s. He made only a few trips to the old country to visit relatives over the years, and these shirts were one of the few things he brought back with him.

I'm not sure of the exact vintage of these shirts, but probably late 70s or early 80s. They're very worn, with fading, fraying and some light spots - these were favorites!

The size tag on one of these is marked a medium, and the garment measurements of both are about 40" chest under the arms, shoulders about 19 1/2" across the back, 18" sleeve length under the arms, collar measurement about 14 1/2".
