vintage upholstery fabric, royal purple violet blue & gold w/ brocade design pattern

Renaissance style upholstery fabric, a vintage remnant length in excellent condition. We're not sure of the exact age or fiber content of this fabric, but has a fairly heavy weight and firm hand, slightly scratchy, probably a polyester blend.

We love the color - something between royal blue and royal purple - and think this is a lovely gothic style brocade pattern. It's 54" wide x 4 1/2" yards, enough for a chair, or a number of chair seats.
