vintage handmade walnut wood wall box or match holder, black forest primitive style

Old handmade walnut wall box for candles and matches, with a hole at the black for hanging. This came out of a estate near us, German or Swiss style vintage, very nice!

The box measures 10 1/2" long overall, 5 1/2" deep over the pocket, and 5 1/2" wide. It's never been stained or varnished, and is just the beautiful black walnut wood.
