late 40s vintage Western Germany pottery pitcher, wild strawberries

Wild strawberry relief design pottery pitcher, 5 1/4" tall, marked Western Germany. The marking dates this to immediately after WWII, late 1940s or very early 1950s.

This has crazing, and and a chip to the underside rim of the pitcher (shows in the photo). It's still a lovely piece of old majolica style pottery, to display, or enjoy as a pitcher for milk, cream, or flowers!
