antique brown transferware plates, English Staffordshire ironstone china

Eight each of late 1800s vintage transferware china plates in 7", 8" and 9" diameters, all in the same brown ivy floral pattern. These are good old Staffordshire china, Hanley / J H Walton.

These plates have been used, and are showing age spotting, browning discoloration and crazing - some of the plates have small chips as well.

Overall it's a lovely set - a nice large table setting to match! Not bad at all for china well over 100 years old.
