antique Furnivals England transferware blue and white china soup plates, bowls
more photos of this product belowThis is a large lot of bowls and shallow soup plates, 18 altogether. Sizes are 5 1/2", 6 1/2" and about 9" in diameter. All of these dishes are showing some age and use, and a couple have some small chips to the rims.
Lot of beautiful old blue transfer floral china plates, vintage Furnivals - England. (The blue sword and anchor maker's mark dates to between 1890 and 1910, and this particular stamped mark begins in the 1870s, which would make these toward the earlier part of that age range.)
Semi-porcelain china has a feel very much like ironstone, and these have the desirable blue-white ironstone color, though are not as heavy in weight as many old ironstone china dishes are.
