1870s patent antique glass handle knife, steel blade marked Hartford Cutlery Tariffville Connecticut

Very unusual old knife marked Hartford Cutlery Co - Tariffville Conn - pat'd Aug 29 1876. This has a etched glass handle with metal rim, steel blade showing wear and rust spotting. Not surprising at almost 150 years old!
