old antique early industrial brass desk work light/lamp

Old, early industrial vintage, adjustable brass desk light. This lamp has an old brass P&S fat boy lamp socket with a pull chain switch and steel shade that clamps onto the socket. This base is spun brass with a heavy cast iron weight under the brass.

This old industrial drafting desk lamp measures about 16" high, 7" across the shade and 5 1/2" across the base. The electric cord is in good shape, but the bottom joint of the arm has been repaired by being soldered. The brass shell on the base a number of dents and dings and the steel shade has some surface rust.
