Large 15" meat platter, old English Staffordshire ironstone with Indus transfer pattern. This is marked RSR (Ridgway, Sparks & Ridgway), backstamps date it to the 1870s.

This does have crazing, and some browning discoloration from age and use - but overall it's in remarkably nice condition, no chips or cracks at all.
