vintage chinoiserie tea caddy chest or jewelry casket, solid brass box

Chinoiserie style vintage solid brass box, unlined, not marked at all that we could see. This measures about 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 6" tall overall... possibly a tea caddy? It's slightly tarnished, but otherwise in very good condition.
