vintage smoking pipe holder, pipe stand w/ little bronze lucky elephant figure

Bronze finish cast metal pipe rack with a little elephant. (The elephant is about 4" x 3", entire piece is about 6 1/2" long end to end.)

There's no makers marks on this that we could see, just the mark where there was once a small sticker. I'm guessing Taiwan, or maybe Japan?

The finish is rubbed and looks wonderfully old, more like 1870s than 1970s! A nice vintage item for a small stand or desk to hold a few pipes.
