1980s vintage Victorian style pewter rocking blotter, made in France

Here's a lovely little desk accessory for a writer or calligrapher, a pewter blotter in the Victorian style, 1980s vintage.

It measures about 1 1/2" wide, about 3 1/2" long (holds maybe a 4" long paper over the curve?). It's in excellent condition, though no blotting paper is included.
