old double knife blade rocking chopper, rustic forged steel mezzaluna early 1900s vintage

Early 1900s vintage rocking chopper, double bladed hand forged steel with original primitive wood handle - an antique, or nearly so.

This is beautifully constructed and in very good condition, works wonderfully for chopping herbs, onions etc in your kitchen. An old world style classic for a serious cook!

It's been carefully cared for over the years, blades smooth without dings or damage, a lovely patina from use. We saw only a few little rust spots over the entire piece.

This measures 6 1/2" wide, about 1/2" between the blades, 7" tall overall. This has no makers marks that we could see, not surprising as it's hand crafted. Just look at those joins to hold the blades!
