antique postal scale, vintage brass beam iron platform scale w/ Weis label

Antique Weis postal counter scale, heavy iron with a solid brass beam. The weighing platform measures 4" x 4" - this is a letter or envelope scale, it isn't made for huge or heavy packages.

The labeling is worn, and the brass is darkened from tarnish. But this looks complete, and seems to work fine as far as we could tell. We love this, such a wonderful steampunk style!
