antique vintage china mustache cup, J P Coats Spool Cotton advertising vocational mug

Vintage china mustache mug with lovely old line art advertising J P Coats Spool Cotton.

We've never found one of these before, and aren't sure if it dates to around the turn of the century circa 1900 - or a 20th century piece made in an older style, and is maybe 1970s?

It's about 3 3/4" tall. There's very little wear to the gold trim, and no chips or cracks to the china.
