big old metal bucket, Rutland red & green checkerboard plaid paint rustic vintage Christmas

We think this vintage metal bucket would make a wonderfully rustic container for a Christmas tree or branches! It's rusty and crusty, but the original red and green painted finish is nice and bright, though worn.

It measures 11 3/4" across the rim of the bucket, and is 13 1/2" deep. It's in good solid condition, with sturdy handle. A nice old piece from Rutland Vermont, early to mid 20th century vintage.
