big vintage red green plaid print tin bucket, metal can shortening advertising

1940s or 50s vintage 50 lb size tin from Dura Fri Shortening - I love this red and green plaid, and think this would be great as a Christmas tree stand or bucket to hold a tree. And you could pack your ornaments away in it too.

It measures 15 1/2" tall x 12" in diameter across the rim. It has a few small dents, though it stands flat (that's my table that's crooked, sorry!).

It's clean and nice inside and out, very minimal wear, and no fading. A nice piece for those collectors mad for plaid.
