40s vintage knitted counterpane bolster cover or table runner, all wool

1940s vintage counterpane patterned knit - a flat bolster cover pillow top, or a tremendous table runner?

Lovely all wool handknitted motifs form squares of dimensional flowers in rose pink and green of silver grey, and the entire piece measures 18" x 104" overall. It's in excellent condition, clean and nice, never used.
