mismatched antique 1860s - 1880s vintage ironstone china dinner plates w/ embossed borders

Mid to late 1800s English ironstone china plates in several different patterns - this lot is seven plates 9 1/2" to 10 1/2" in diameter.

All of these pieces are shabby, with finish wear, serious discoloration and scratching. They have a beautiful primitive simplicity, sort of a western wabi-sabi. The age and wear on these plates is 150 years of life well lived!
