huge vintage Mexican pottery pot

Vintage souvenir from Mexico, a large pot, great curry yellow color!

This is some type of ceramic we're not very familiar with... it's a creamy color under the painted finish, very thin, very light in weight for it's size, hand shaped.

Pot measures 14 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" diameter at the widest part. It has the remains of some lettering in paint on the bottom, but too much of it has been worn away for us to make out, we're sorry.

This has no drainage holes in the bottom, interior is marked with raised lettering C C D 29. Pot itself in in very good shape, no cracks. Has some wear to the rim, and spots of wear to the painted finish.
