primitive old tin egg poacher, antique vintage kitchen gadget or soap dish

Egg shaped tinned steel egg poacher, early 1900s vintage. I think this would make a perfect soap dish for a small soap! It measures about 3" x 2" over the dish area.

This is worn and scratched from many years of use, with a nicely darkened patina to the tin. A good old primitive piece.
