signed vintage yellow ware stoneware pottery butter crock w/ lid, mochaware seaweed

Vintage mochaware yellow stoneware pottery butter crock with lid, in very good condition. I believe this is 20th century vintage, not antique - though I have not been able to track down the makers mark or this particular shape and design.

The stamped mark looks like -NORTH or -WORTH to me. Underneath that is marked (something) MASS, or possibly 1999? I think the former, but the 1990s time period would not surprise me. This doesn't look ancient. And it's very much in the East Knoll style!

This crock is the classic yellow ware color with traditional mocha ware seaweed design. It's a bit over 4" in diameter, a sweet little piece. Crock and lid are both in excellent condition without damage.
