vintage English chintz china plates, Winkle Whieldon Ware pheasant bird Wessex pattern

Early 1900s vintage Whieldon Ware china in the Wessex pattern, a green background chintz with colored flowers and birds.

This is a set of ELEVEN plates, eight-sided shape, about 8 1/2" in diameter. A few have some old chips to the rims, or very slight browning at rims only.

We believe these were all from the original setting of twelve, but they're not absolutely identical - transfer color varies slightly, some are a heavier stamping or deeper color for some reason.
