Huge heavy old white ironstone china platter, big enough to use as a serving tray or to hold a turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas!
Platter measures about 16 1/4" x 11 1/2" overall. The backstamp is J & G Meakin with the English Royal Arms - early 1900s vintage.
This has no chips or cracks, but has been much used over its 100 years of age. It shows spotting, scratching and utensil marks, some dulling to the surface.
