vintage quilt top, hand-stitched crazy quilt patchwork in cotton print fabric

We love this vintage hand sewn crazy quilt patchwork quilt top, it's nearly entirely composed of tiny scraps and 'rags' from old clothes, giving a fascinating look at the fabrics available in the late depression and early WWII years.

This has flaws which are present in the fabrics and old cut up garments (fading or discoloration, old stitching holes etc.) but it's been beautifully made, and has never been backed, or used as a quilt. There are various backing fabrics applied to the scrap pieces as this was made.

The edges of this quilt top are even but unfinished, the top measures 76" x 84" overall.
