big old corn knife hay cutter machete, vintage forged steel blade primitive farm tool

Early 1900s vintage farm tool, a corn knife or hay knife, something like a big machete. This is about 14" long over the iron blade, 20" long end to end.

The blade is much used and has wear and some old surface rust. The wood handle is a little rough. It's a nice old primitive piece right out of a an old dairy farm here in Wisconsin.
